Wonder Oasis Waterpark opens early with exclusive deals, updated rides and more

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — Shreveport’s waterpark for all ages, Wonder Oasis Waterpark, is opening early and launching what promises to be a summer to remember.

Formerly known as Splash Kingdown, Wonder Oasis Waterpark, “Wow,” says they are offering guests brand-new season pass perks and introducing “Buddy Days,” when season pass holders can bring in a friend for free.

“Buddy Days are our way of saying thank you to our loyal season pass holders,” said Lee
Hovis, owner of Wonder Oasis. “We want this park to be a place where memories are made
all summer long – and that’s even better when shared with friends.

Wow’s 2025 Season begins on May 16 – September 1, 2025.

According to WOW, the Wonder Oasis team has made critical improvements during the off-season since acquiring the park. Season passes are on sale until May 15th for $49.99, and general admission is $22.99.

Shreveport’s waterpark season pass holder perks include:

• Admission to Wonder Oasis Waterpark for the entire 2025 season,
• Bring a friend for free on ‘Buddy Days’
• Discounts on food and beverages, retail items,
• 50% discount on cabana rentals (Mondays through Thursdays),
• Access to Special Season Pass Events (TBA)
• Discounted Admission to select Special Off-season Events (TBA)

Wonder Oasis is also planning events for Halloween and Christmas, including a spooky-themed celebration in the fall and a “dazzling holiday light experience” in the winter.

According to its website, WOW is open Sundays through Thursdays from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m. “Buddy Days” are scheduled every Monday during opening hours.
