Where you can see family movies for less than $2 this summer

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Looking for a way to keep your kids busy this summer without breaking the bank? Cinemark’s Summer Movie Clubhouse is offering a weekly discounted movie all summer long.

Starting June 2, several Cinemark theaters in Utah will be offering tickets to a 9:30 a.m. Wednesday showing of a previously-released family movie for only $1.75 plus tax.

Some of the best family movies will be coming back to theaters, including “The Bad Guys,” “The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water,” “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” “Shrek 2,” “Despicable Me 4,” “Kung Fu Panda 4,” “The Wild Robot,” “Sonic the Hedgehog 3,” “The Garfield Movie,” and “The Lego Batman Movie.”

There will also be $1 discounts on kids snack packs, as well as all popcorn and drink combos for the family. The promotion will be running until Aug. 7 and is sponsored by DreamWorks Animation’s upcoming films “The Bad Guys 2” and “Gabby’s Dollhouse: The Movie.”

Some theaters will include additional showings at this discounted price. Make sure to check in on other dates to catch these cheap movie tickets.
