Wake-Up Weather: another day, another chance at triple digit heat with a hint of smoke

Summary: HAZY start to the morning, for those with underlying respiratory issues, today will be a day to take it easy. When you combine lower air quality, with triple digit heat, it can exacerbate allergies and make things difficult for sensitive groups. Temperatures today will have a chance at reaching the century mark, and while yesterday we stayed shy. The main culprit between yesterday’s high will also be a factor today; cloud cover. Temperatures will fall by Thursday thanks to a brief, weak cold front that will move back to the northwest as a warm front pulling temperatures into the mid 90’s. We will try to hold on to a few rain chances by this weekend due to a dry-line.
