ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — The man accused of robbing an elderly woman in the parking lot of the Hard Rock Casino Rockford last November has been caught.
Nicholas Williams, 40, of Madison, Wisconsin, is accused of robbing a 70-year-old woman of her purse around 11:35 a.m. on Thursday, November 21st, 2024.

He then fled to the I-90 exit, according to witnesses.
Williams was booked into the Winnebago County Jail at 2 p.m. yesterday.
He faces the charge of Robbery of a Victim Over 60.
