FRIEDENSBURG – Book lovers can browse over 50,000 books while supporting a Schuylkill County fire company this weekend.
The Friedensburg Fire Company is hosting their first-ever community book sale this weekend at the firehouse at 1357 Long Run Road in Wayne Township.
A preview sale is set for May 16 from 4pm to 8pm with a $10 entry fee.
The sale itself is Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm.
The fire company says more than 50,000 books are in storage and is expected to be one of the largest book sales in the region.
Titles span every genre—fiction, nonfiction, children’s, cookbooks, mysteries, romance, thrillers, biographies, history, self-help, and more.
Prices are set to be affordable for all:
On Sunday, they’ll have a Fill-a-Bag for $5 deal.
All proceeds benefit the Friedensburg Fire Company Truck Fund, helping to ensure the department can continue to provide vital emergency services to the community.
