New Foxtrot opening in Lincoln Park this week

CHICAGO (WGN) — Foxtrot is continuing to expand. Their sixth storefront in Chicago will open in the city’s Lincoln Park neighborhood later this week.

According to a press release, Foxtrot’s newest location will open Thursday at 935 West Webster Avenue. The new store will feature unique design elements, including a spacious patio with 25 seats, and is the first brand-new storefront opening in Chicago since new ownership took over Foxtrot in June 2024.

“This new store represents the next chapter for Foxtrot as we continue growing in neighborhoods we love,” said Mike LaVitola, Foxtrot’s Chairman. “Lincoln Park has been an important part of our story from the beginning, and we’re excited to deepen our roots here with a fresh new space designed to better serve the neighborhood.”

Foxtrot’s Lincoln Park location is set to celebrate its grand opening with several weekend promotions:

• Thursday, May 15: Enjoy a free coffee from 6–11 AM—no purchase necessary—and receive a free Lincoln Park tote with any purchase of $50 or more.
• Friday, May 16: Stop by for Vendor Day starting at 11 AM, featuring samples from Hormbles Chormbles, Floura, Dough Snatchers, (p)rind, and more.
• Saturday, May 17: Kick off your morning with slow pour samples of BIG FACE coffee and get a free kid’s donut with any purchase. Plus, enjoy $7 pours of Grass Stains Sauvy B and Sun Lips Rosé all day.

As part of the new location’s opening, the upscale corner store chain said they are also expanding its locally curated café menu with new offerings for breakfast, lunch, and more. The updated menu features new breakfast tacos on locally-produced tortillas, fresh, house-made smoothies, and an increased selection of globally-inspired gummies.

Alongside an expanded café menu, Foxtrot said the store will also showcase a curated selection of premium goods, featuring new offerings from local artisans and forward-thinking brands in the consumer packaged goods industry.

Thursday will mark the third Foxtrot store to open or be reopened since last fall. Foxtrot reopened in River North in December 2024 and Gold Coast in September 2024.
