Mongolian grill-style restaurants offer Asian-fusion stir-fry cuisine, where customers craft their own bowls by selecting ingredients that are cooked on a giant grill while they watch.
Yummy Bowl will also offer Japanese ramen, Korean fried chicken, and fresh sushi.
The chain has locations in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Indiana, Tennessee, Alabama, and more states throughout the Midwest and along the East Coast.
The news follows an April announcement that the former Hardee’s in Loves Park, at 1550 E. Riverside, will become Super Bowl Mongolian Grill.
Rockford was once home to a BD’s Mongolian Grill location at 7310 Walton Street, but it closed in 2010.
No opening date for Yummy Bowl has been announced.
