Deputies say their Search and Rescue team spent five straight days and nights combing nearly 600 square miles of wilderness for Tiffany Slaton and her belongings. They say they searched from Mono Hot Springs to Wishon Reservoir, Pine Flat Lake to Auberry, and all areas in between.
On April 20, the last day Slaton’s parents heard from her, she told them she was on her way to Mono Hot Springs to fulfill her ‘bucket list’
Slaton was last seen four days later in the area of the old Cressman’s General Store.
Despite scaling back operations, the sheriff’s office says they are not giving up and will continue searching. To help the community better recognize Slaton, they have released a video of her from April 8 when she was in the Santa Cruz area, making her way toward Fresno County.
Per the video in the media player above, the 27-year-old was wearing a black Bern bicycle helmet, a blue knapsack, and a dark blue vest. She was last seen with a green and gray tent, a black and blue Lectric electric bicycle, and a red bicycle trailer.
Slaton is 5 feet 10 inches tall, 125 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to immediately contact the Fresno County Sheriff’s Office at 559-600-3111 using reference case number 25-4458.
