(KRON) — Authorities are searching for a suspect linked to a bank robbery over the weekend, the Santa Rosa Police Department (SRPD) said. Around 9:33 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, an alarm was triggered at Exchange Bank in Montgomery Village.

The suspect — described as a tall and slender man — was wrapped in a blanket when he entered the bank, according to SRPD. He pointed a gun at the bank teller and demanded cash. The man then left the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash.

A light purple or lavender blanket was used to cover the suspect’s face, SRPD said. He was seen wearing black jeans and black shoes.

As of 4:30 p.m., the suspect remains at large. SRPD was not able to provide more details about his identity.
