Injuries reported in school bus crash in St. Claude neighborhood: NOPD

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Multiple people are injured after a crash involving a school bus in the St. Claude neighborhood on Tuesday morning, May 13.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, officers were alerted of the crash around 7 a.m. in the 3700 block of North Robertson Street near Independence Street.

Initial investigations revealed the vehicle hit the bus sending it off the road colliding with a home.

Officers said the driver of the vehicle and some of the 27 occupants on the bus were injured.

NOPD and EMS remains on the scene. A building inspector has also been notified.
