Audrey Hill was a mother of four. Police said she was hit by a vehicle in late April off of Brookwood Drive.
“I’m sure that the young ones really don’t understand what’s happened. The older kids definitely had a hard time with it,” said Justin Mixon, the victim’s brother.
The family said Jackson police told them they do not have a lot of information to go on. The family asked the public to speak up about anything they may have witnessed about the incident.
“It’s the last thing last opportunity that I have to do anything for her is be able to offer her children justice. It just sounds like, from what the police told me, that they really don’t have anything to work with, based on what was recorded at the time of the incident. And they’re depending on members of the public to come forward,” stated Mixon.
Anyone with information about the fatal hit-and-run can contact Jackson police at 601-960-1234 or Crime Stoppers at 601-355-TIPS (8477).
