IDAHO FALLS — Bonneville County Coroner Shante Sanchez has released the name of a 61-year-old woman killed in a fatal crash Friday afternoon.
Doris Prine of Terreton was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
According to a Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office news release, the crash occurred at around 3 p.m. on the Lewisville Highway near 5th East and 97th North. Deputies and EMS were dispatched to a report of a two-vehicle crash.

The release states it was a head-on crash between a pickup truck and a car. The pickup truck driver was driving southbound and had crossed over the center line, causing the truck to crash into Prine’s car, which was traveling northbound. The crash resulted in both vehicles overturning, and both drivers were ejected. No other occupants were in the vehicles.
The driver of a pickup truck was a 21-year-old man who was transported to a local hospital via ambulance with severe injuries. His condition is unknown.
