Trees from storm block roads in Langley, SC area

Langley, S.C. (WJBF) – Trees are down in the Langley area after an early morning storm on Monday.

Authorities say the Augusta Road area was hit the hardest.

According to authorities, a tree is down blocking the intersection of Augusta Road at Piney Heights Road.

Storm spotters for the National Weather Service say there has been damage to the Langley Fire Station with 2 bay doors ripped off.

Power outages have also been reported for some Dominion Energy customers.

The National Weather Service states that they will assess the damage to see if a tornado went through the area.
