Sunday Wake-Up Weather: A Beautiful Mother's Day
Sunday Wake-Up Weather: A Beautiful Mother's Day
Summary: Heading into Sunday, temperatures will remain below that average threshold thanks to an upper level low that is set up to the east of us. While we typical tend to get severe weather from these systems, this one is set up in a way that has been keeping us cooler. Heading into the new work week though, things will quickly change as a high pressure system sets up shop over Texas, allowing for those scorching temperatures to creep in and remain in the forecast.

Morning: Heading into Mothers Day morning, skies will start mostly sunny with temperatures in the mix of the 50s. Winds will be out of the North at 5-10 mph.

Afternoon: If you have plans outside, conditions are shaping up to make for a perfect day with temperatures around 70 by noon. Skies will be sunny and winds will remain out of the North.

Evening: Ending our day we can expect temperatures to peak within the mix of the 80s across the area and skies will remain clear to close out the day.

From KTAB/KRBC we want to wish all the moms out there a very Happy Mother’s day!!
