By rssfeeds-admin SLIDELL, La. (WGNO) — The St. Tammany Parish coroner has identified the victim of a crash that left one person dead on the Interstate 10 Twin Span Bridge in April.
On April 30, the Louisiana State Police reported that a pedestrian was killed in a crash on the I-10 Twin Span Bridge between Ole Spanish Trail and Irish Bayou.
LSP officials said the pedestrian got into the left lane of traffic while a Chevrolet was driving east on the same road. The pedestrian was hit and pronounced dead at the scene.
On Sunday, May 11, St. Tammany Parish Coroner Dr. Christopher Tape identified the victim as 61-year-old Errol Douglas Cain.
Tape said the death has been ruled as accidental.
