Memorial Day on the Square to be held May 26


The Alley White American Legion Post 52 is hosting the annual Memorial Day Commemoration sponsored by the North Central Arkansas Veterans Council at First Security Bank Veterans Plaza 2000. The event will be held on the morning of May 26 at 11 with David E. Butts serving as Master of Ceremonies.




Chairman of the USS Arkansas Commissioning Committee Captain Randy Malone, USN retired, will be the keynote speaker. Michael Nighbert of Alley White Post 52 will be Chaplain, the national anthem will be sung by Raquel Houk, music will be provided by KTLO and Colors will be provided by the participating Veterans Organizations and Honors by the Honor Guard of Alley White American Legion Post 52.

Cupcakes and coffee will be served at VFW Post 3246 after the ceremony.
