The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office (EBRSO) Gang Intelligence and Enforcement Unit, along with the SCAT team, began investigating suspected cocaine distributor Nathan Cole, 20. EBRSO said they watched him for several days and discovered he was running his drug operation from his apartment on E. Boyd Drive.
Agents made a controlled sale of cocaine from Cole in the apartment parking lot. They later obtained search warrants for his apartment and vehicle.

After his arrest, EBRSO said Cole admitted to owning the drugs, guns, and cash. He also told investigators he had been selling cocaine for money.
