Mother’s Day Community Potluck: Women of the World will be holding a Mother’s Day community potluck on Saturday, May 10, at 12:30 p.m. at 2531 S 500 E, South Salt Lake. The event is open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to bring dishes to share.

Mother’s Day at Utah’s Hogle Zoo: Saturday and Sunday, Utah’s Hogle Zoo will be offering free admission for mothers and mother figures. They will receive one free daytime admission with the purchase of one full-priced adult or child ticket. This offer will be available at the ticket window.
South Salt Lake Mural Fest: The South Salt Lake Arts Council is hosting its annual Mural Fest, which is set to feature 13 new murals, including the largest one ever painted in the city.
On Saturday, May 10, the “unveiling” will kick off from 4-8 p.m., where the public can walk through a mural route and meet with the artists. Additionally, there will be a community celebration at Bowers Way and West Temple, filled with live music, food trucks, interactive art activities, and vendors.
