Davis County:

Burn Camp 5K: University of Utah Health is hosting a Burn Camp 5K, an opportunity to run with superheroes while supporting their burn camp programs. In addition to the race, there will be face painting, prizes, and a raffle.

Salt Lake County

Best Buddies Friendship Walk: The Best Buddies Friendship Walk will be taking place at the Olympic Oval this weekend, which is an event that supports inclusion for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Register online.

Build a Mother’s Day Card: Loki’s Coffee in Salt Lake City will be hosting a “Build Your Own Mother’s Day” card event in partnership with Study Bubble this Saturday, May 10, from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. The event is free, but RSVP’ing ahead of time is appreciated.

Brighton Resort Mother’s Day Brunch: Head to Brighton and celebrate mom with mountain views and a delicious brunch with pastries, seasonal dishes, and breakfast classics. The Mother’s Day brunch goes from 10:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. Tickets for adults are $65 or $25 for children.

Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship: This weekend, elite off-world motorcycle riders will compete for the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship. The event will be on Saturday, May 10, with tickets available online.

Mother’s Day Community Potluck: Women of the World will be holding a Mother’s Day community potluck on Saturday, May 10, at 12:30 p.m. at 2531 S 500 E, South Salt Lake. The event is open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to bring dishes to share.

“We’re thrilled to host this special event where we can celebrate the invaluable contributions of mothers and caregivers from diverse backgrounds,” said Samira Harnish, Founder and Executive Director of Women of the World. “It’s an opportunity for our community to come together, share stories, and enjoy delicious food in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere.”

Mother’s Day at Utah’s Hogle Zoo: Saturday and Sunday, Utah’s Hogle Zoo will be offering free admission for mothers and mother figures. They will receive one free daytime admission with the purchase of one full-priced adult or child ticket. This offer will be available at the ticket window.

South Salt Lake Mural Fest: The South Salt Lake Arts Council is hosting its annual Mural Fest, which is set to feature 13 new murals, including the largest one ever painted in the city.

On Saturday, May 10, the “unveiling” will kick off from 4-8 p.m., where the public can walk through a mural route and meet with the artists. Additionally, there will be a community celebration at Bowers Way and West Temple, filled with live music, food trucks, interactive art activities, and vendors.

Kite Festival in North Salt Lake: Saturday, May 10, at 10 a.m., there will be a Kite Festival at Tunnel Springs Park, complete with plenty of kites, a DJ, food trucks, face painters, photo ops, and more.

Utah County

Harvest Restaurant Mother’s Day Brunch: The Harvest Restaurant at Thanksgiving Point will be having a Mother’s Day brunch on Saturday, May 10, from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. Enjoy a range of fresh salads, breakfast, and lunch entrées, as well as desserts. Make a reservation online.

Sundance Mountain Resort Mother’s Day Brunch: The Foundry Grill & Tree Room will be hosting its annual Mother’s Day Brunch on Sunday, May 11. Reserve ahead of time. Last seating will be at 3:45 p.m. Pricing is $39 for ages 4 -12 and $89 for ages 13+_.

Orem Asian Fest and Mother’s Day Celebration: At the University Place Mall The Orchard, there will be an Asian festival and Mother’s Day Celebration. For Mother’s Day, craft a necklace for your mom, and at the festival, enjoy Asian food and entertainment.

“Bring No-Kill Home Summit”: Best Friends Animal Society will be hosting a “Bring No-Kill Home Summit” to teach participants more about how they can be a catalyst for change in helping Utah and the country reach no-kill status.

Washington County:

St. George Ironman: The Intermountain Health Ironman 70.3 St. George North American Championship is taking place this weekend, with athletes from around the world. It runs from May 8 – May 10.

Weber County

Living Heritage Festival: Ogden will be holding its Living Heritage Festival this weekend, featuring live music, crafts, and performances. The event is on Saturday, May 10, from 12 p.m. – 8 p.m. Admission is free.

Fly with the Flock Fun Run and Celebration: The Ogden Nature Center is hosting a 50th Anniversary fun run. Run, or walk, a 5K and enjoy an outdoor package breakfast. There will also be a kids’ dash. Register online.
