CLOVIS, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the deadly shooting of 18-year-old Caleb Quick outside a McDonald’s in Clovis over two weeks ago, the Clovis Police Department announced on Friday.

Officers did not identify the two suspects arrested. Caleb Quick was shot outside a McDonald’s

at Willow and Nees avenues on April 23. Quick was transported to the hospital, where he later passed away.

A suspect was seen on surveillance video wearing all black with a hoodie and a black mask. Clovis Police did not specify if either of the suspects arrested was the suspect shown below.

The arrest comes after a break in the investigation earlier this week when police located a white Tesla thought to have been used in the homicide. The vehicle, which was towed from a home in Fresno, was believed to have transported the suspect away from the crime scene following the shooting.

The white Tesla being towed away for evidence on Tuesday was welcomed by Clovis Hills Community Church Pastor Shawn Beaty, who said that it “does help bring a sense of peace.” The victim attended Clovis Hills Community Church and was described by members of the congregation as having “a brilliant, bright life.”
