Visit Baton Rouge launches new look, tourism campaign

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Visit Baton Rouge has launched a new brand and advertising campaign to show off the city’s unique charm, rich culture, and warm hospitality.

The new slogan, “Our Place, Your Pace,” encourages visitors to explore Baton Rouge their way and includes a logo inspired by the quatrefoil, a design seen on many buildings around the city.

“Its approachable yet refined feel embodies Baton Rouge’s sense of laid-back luxury and will be employed visually to suggest a window through which to see the city’s rich collection of offerings,” a news release said.

One special focus of the campaign is the Perkins Overpass area, which is being promoted as a hidden gem for food lovers.

Laura Cating, Visit Baton Rouge’s Senior Vice President of Marketing and Communications, said the announcement came during National Travel and Tourism Week, a time to highlight how important tourism is to the city. In 2024 alone, Baton Rouge saw $1.7 billion in visitor spending.
