Registration open for Silent Struggle 5k to support women facing postpartum depression

Registration is open for The Silent Struggle 5k Walk/Run scheduled for May 17 at Big Spring Park.





The annual event is the Comprehensive Women’s Clinic and aims to help support and raise awareness for women experiencing postpartum depression (PPD). One in seven women struggle with PPD, often without the help they need. Money raised from this event will go to help those who can’t afford medication, counseling and other services for proper treatment.

Registration includes a T-shirt and costs $25. T-shirts can be picked up Friday morning from 8 to 2 or the morning of the race.
