Officers say they responded to the area of Clinton and West avenues, near Hamilton K-8 School, just before 8:40 a.m. on Thursday regarding a traffic collision involving a Fresno Unified school bus.
According to investigators, both vehicles involved were westbound on Clinton Avenue when traffic slowed down for another vehicle that was making a left turn into a driveway.
The driver of the school bus did not realize traffic was slowing down and rear-ended one of the vehicles stopped in traffic, according to police.
The police department reports no children were on board at the time, and nobody reported injuries.
