Buc-ee’s unveils grand opening plans for first Mississippi location

HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Buc-ee’s officials have released more information about the grand opening for the first store in Mississippi.

WXXV reported the grand opening ceremony will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 9. The event will recognized those who helped make the project a reality.

The Menge Avenue location in Harrison County is expected to bring at least 200 full-time jobs to the area.

Buc-ee’s favorites, including Texas barbeque, homemade fudge, kolaches, Beaver Nuggets, jerky and fresh pastries, will all be available.

Founded in Texas in 1982, Buc-ee’s operates dozens stores across Texas and the South.
