WOMB Talk Luncheon set to empower and uplift women in Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – A women’s empowerment event is set to take place just in time for Mother’s Day. WOMB Talk, hosted by EST.HER, will be held on Saturday, May 10 at 11 a.m. at Lake Bethlehem Fellowship Hall, 2842 MLK Drive.

The luncheon is designed to create a safe and intentional space for women to explore healing, purpose, and connection. Founded by community leader Denise Simon, the event encourages attendees to reflect on the emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects of womanhood.

A panel of local women—Shenika Whitaker, Kalli Combs, Dr. Kenya Roberts, and Kimerea Walker—will lead discussions on motherhood, entrepreneurship, personal growth, and more.

The afternoon will include lunch, games, giveaways, and opportunities for meaningful conversation. Tickets are available via the QR code on the event flyer or through EST.HER’s social media channels.
