Wake-Up Weather: clouds increase with showers near the Concho valley

Summary: We have not seen a lot of rain the past two day, however we are doing good when it comes to rainfall since the beginning of the year. A high pressure system is keeping things quiet, luckily for us winds are going to remain out of the north meaning temperatures stay into the mix of the 70’s through the holiday weekend. Into next week summer is looking to make a stay with temperatures approaching the triple digit mark. Rain chances appear rather light meaning we could be heading towards a hot and dry weather pattern known as summer.
