Thursday: Models have trended drier. especially north of Lake Pontchartrain; however, I’m not sold that we won’t see storms fire along the stationary front in south Louisiana.

The greatest risk for localized heavy rain will be along and south of I-10. The Weather Prediction Center has placed a Slight Risk(Level 2 out of 4) for excessive rain. Hot spots of 1-2+” of rain possible with highest rain coverage in coastal south Louisiana.

Friday-Saturday: A piece of energy that is currently over the Four Corners will slide eastward, and rain coverage looks higher than Thursday.
