Thursday: Models have trended drier. especially north of Lake Pontchartrain; however, I’m not sold that we won’t see storms fire along the stationary front in south Louisiana.
The greatest risk for localized heavy rain will be along and south of I-10. The Weather Prediction Center has placed a Slight Risk(Level 2 out of 4) for excessive rain. Hot spots of 1-2+” of rain possible with highest rain coverage in coastal south Louisiana.

Friday-Saturday: A piece of energy that is currently over the Four Corners will slide eastward, and rain coverage looks higher than Thursday.
Watch for an isolated severe risk with gusty winds, small hail & localized flash flooding possible.
