Angel Reese to be featured in first Funko Pop! WNBA figures lineup

EVERETT, Wash. (WGN) — Chicago Sky star forward Angel Reese is one of four professional basketball players who will be a part of a first-ever partnership between Funko and the WNBA.

On Wednesday, Funko, a pop culture lifestyle brand, announced an agreement with the WNBA to launch its first Pop! figures featuring WNBA players.

Reese, alongside the Las Vegas Aces’ A’Ja Wilson, New York Liberty’s Breanna Stewart and Indiana Fever’s Caitlin Clark, will headline the collectible figure lineup.

The set will go on pre-sale next Wednesday ahead of tip-off of the WNBA regular season.

“At Funko, we believe fandom has no boundaries and we are incredibly excited about this relationship,” said Cynthia Williams, CEO of Funko. “The recent rapid rise of the WNBA, the power of its players as engaging brand ambassadors, and its passionate fanbase are a testament to the power of sports culture.

“Bringing these trailblazing athletes to our Pop! lineup is not just about collectibles—it’s about celebrating the energy, talent, and influence of women’s basketball.”

More WNBA Pop! figures are expected in future waves, with plans to spotlight even more of the league’s brightest stars. For more information on Funko’s WNBA Pop! figures and other sports offerings, visit funko.com.
