1 person taken to hospital after reported shooting in Baton Rouge, officials say
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) and EMS responded to a shooting on Thursday, May 8.
EMS said they were called around 6:45 a.m. to the 300 block of N. 16th Street and took one person to the hospital. The condition of that person is unknown at this time.
Multiple BPRD units were observed in the area of N. 15th Street and Laurel Street.
