1 hurt in shooting on South Sherwood Forest Boulevard, police say
BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The Baton Rouge Police Department (BRPD) is investigating after one person was injured in a shooting overnight.
Police responded to the 4000 block of S. Sherwood Forest Boulevard in connection with the incident. The victim was driven to the hospital, authorities confirmed.
Two BRPD units and officers were observed searching the parking lot with flashlights.
EMS said they were not called to this scene.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
