accidentally killed by another officer Monday, according to an announcement by the Rayne Frog Festival Committee.

“Out of respect for our fallen officer and to allow our law enforcement families time to grieve and be with loved ones Thursday night’s Kickoff Parade has been canceled,” the committee announced.
