PEARL, Miss. (WJTV) – One person died during a house fire in Pearl.

The fire occurred at a home on Upper Drive on Tuesday, May 6.

According to Pearl firefighters, two people were inside the home at the time of the fire. There’s no word on the condition of the second person.

Officials said the home was destroyed. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
