Executive Director of the New Orleans Recreation Development Commission, Larry Barabino Jr., says there will be some newer programs this year.
“We have our partnership with STEM NOLA. We have STEM Programming that is going to take place, not just for teens but youths as well. We have our esports programming that is happening at three different locations throughout the City of New Orleans. Also, we are expanding with podcasting programs. Our goal is to meet our teens where they are and to provide them with what they say they want,” said Barabino.
According to NORD, a number of camps and jobs have been filled; however, there are still teen camp spots open in Algiers.
