May 2025 continued its cool ways on Monday. Highs so far this month have been below normal on four of the month’s opening 5 days.
The stubborn Omega block is behind the cool readings here and across the Ohio Valley bringing extensive cloud cover and occasionally showery weather.
Winds continued to blow off the lake keeping readings near Lake Michigan in the 50s while most inland locations topped out in the low to mid 60s.
Partial sunshine emerged in the afternoon following a dreary start to the day.
Pollen update: Tree pollen continues to be an issue and continues in the high range.
