The Department of Justice announced on Monday, May 5, that Zachary King, 24, was sentenced to 151 months in prison after using the internet to receive and distribute child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
According to his plea agreement, King admitted to authorities that he received CSAM as early as the day before his home was searched. During the search, investigators found more than 7,400 images and videos of minors engaging in sexually explicit activity.
Per federal law, the DOJ announced that King must serve at least 85% of his sentence before being eligible for release. After his release, he will be placed under the supervision of the U.S. Probation Office for 40 years.
