“We are a trusted nonprofit organization serving over 4,000 older adults with programs and services across Delaware, Chester and Montgomery counties and we really do that with the strength of not only our dedicated staff and board but over 500 plus volunteers,” said Jill Whitcomb, President and CEO of Surrey Services.
Delco Gives is Delaware County’s only online day of giving supporting over 300 local nonprofits. Last year, it raised over $1.7 million dollars from more than 9,600 donors in just 24 hours.
“Our organization was founded on volunteerism. It started with a neighbor helping a neighbor philosophy where community members helped older adults get to where they needed to be,” said Kathy Henderson, Director of Community Services.
