The Southaven Police Department says the ambulance drove into Baptist DeSoto Hospital. The hospital told WREG in a statement that no patients were injured, but one staff member received minor injuries during the incident.
A suspect is now in custody. A witness on the scene claimed the ambulance was stolen, but police have not confirmed this.
Below is the full statement from Baptist DeSoto.

Fortunately, none of our patients were injured in the incident, and one staff member sustained minor injuries. The safety of our patients, staff, and visitors is always our top priority, and that is our focus at this time. We are grateful for the quick response from Southaven’s emergency response teams and will continue to work with them on this situation.”
