Several Bay Area brunch spots listed on DoorDash’s 100 best in US

(KRON) — In the spirit of Mother’s Day coming up this weekend, DoorDash unveiled its list of the 100 best brunch restaurants in the United States. Several on the list are here in the Bay Area and are brunch staples for their respective communities.

DoorDash compiled the list by analyzing its data from April 2024 to March 2025 and reviewing restaurants with at least 1,000 customer reviews. All restaurants are smaller brands with fewer than five locations.

Here are the Bay Area brunch establishments included on the list.

• Schlok’s Bagels & Lox (San Francisco)
• The Grove — Yerba Buena (San Francisco)
• Bagel Guys (San Jose)
• Cafe Rosalena (San Jose)
• Lucky Donuts and Sandwiches (Oakland)
• Crepevine (Burlingame)
• Elios Family Restaurant (San Leandro)
• Sunrise Bistro (Walnut Creek)

The list was not sorted by ranking. DoorDash compiled the list of 100 brunch spots in alphabetical order.

“The data defines ‘brunch’ as breakfast orders on Saturday and Sunday,” DoorDash wrote. “All small-medium sized restaurants and brands with less than five stores, the highest average overall customer rating, and at least 1,000 reviews, qualified for this list.”
