(KRON) — The San Bruno BART station shut down early Tuesday morning following a “major medical emergency,” according to the Bay Area Rapid Transit District. The station was reopened just after 7 a.m.
BART announced the closure at 5:43 a.m. There is a 20-minute delay on the SFO Line in the Antioch, Richmond, SFO and Millbrae directions following the station reopening, transit officials said.
No further details about the medical emergency were immediately available.
SamTrans provided bus service between South San Francisco and Millbrae on bus ECR, BART said.
