Help the NOPD catch a clown-masked burglar

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department is trying to arrest a burglary suspect who wore a clown mask to disguise his identity. The case is the latest one to roll on the Wheel of Justice.

According to police, the crime happened a little after 1:15 in the morning on April 25 at a business in the 2800 block of Frenchmen Street. Police also released a few security camera images of the suspect who was wearing a clown mask, maroon sweatpants, a cheetah jacket, and white and red Adidas.

The NOPD also says the man stole electronics from the business.

This is just the latest case we’ve reported over the past few month involving suspects who wore masks to commit crimes. To see this Wheel of Justice report, including the security camera images of the suspect, watch the video at the top of this story.

If you have information that could help police identify or locate the burglary suspect, call CrimeStoppers at 504-822-1111. You don’t have to reveal your name or testify in court, and you could be eligible to earn a cash reward.

So far, more than 475 people have been booked after their cases rolled on the Wheel of Justice.
