The popular chicken restaurant is expanding in Salt Lake County with a location at 4026 W 13400 S in Riverton opening Tuesday, May 6. The grand opening will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a drawing for free Cane’s for a year. There will be 20 winners announced at 9:30 a.m.
In addition, the first 100 customers to arrive will be given a beanie and a buy-one-get-one-free Box Combo deal.
Brigham Young University’s mascot, Cosmo, and Mountain Ridge High School cheerleaders will make morning appearances at the restaurant — which is decorated with tributes to local universities, athletes, and artists. At 9:15 a.m., Riverton Mayor Trent Staggs will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
“Utah fans asked, and we listened! We are proud to continue expanding in the surrounding Salt Lake City area to meet our growing number of fans here out west,” said Regional Leader of Restaurants Fausto Cedillo in a press release.
The Riverton location — which marks Utah’s eleventh Raising Cane’s restaurant — will be open seven days a week with hours extending to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
