Fire erupts at southside apartment complex in Abilene
ABILENE, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – A fire broke out at a southside apartment complex Sunday evening.

At about 6:20 p.m. on May 4, crews responded to the 2600 block of Nonesuch Road for a fire at the Sedona Apartments. Bystanders reported that smoke was coming from a second-story home. Our reporter on the scene says the building was evacuated.

Crews reported that the fire started in a vacant unit and spread to another vacant unit before being contained. The building sustained smoke and carbon dioxide damage.
