Tangipahoa Parish deputies respond to small plane crash reported near Kentwood

KENTWOOD, La. (WGNO) — Officials with the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office and Kentwood Fire are responding to a small plane crash near the Kentwood area on Saturday, May 3.

The TPSO reported the crash happened near B Sanders Road.

According to deputies, the plane had two passengers, a male and a female, when the crash happened.

TPSO officials said the male passenger suffered moderate to severe injuries and the female passenger suffered minor injuries. Both passengers were taken to a hospital for treatment.
