Logansport softball advances to state finals

SULPHUR, LA (KTAL/KMSS) — On Saturday, Logansport softball dominated Mangham in the Division IV (Non-select) state semifinals game, with a 13-1 victory to advance to the final stage.

The Lady Tigers can credit an early jump to the victory, putting up four runs in the first inning and six in the second, Mangham never had a chance to dig themselves out of the hole.

Logansport will now face LaSalle on Sunday, May 4 in the Division IV (Non-select) championship game with hopes of bringing home a state title.
