The Greenville Police Department say 60-year-old Thomas Woods contacted a juvenile through the internet and drove to the juvenile’s home early Saturday morning.
Following the investigation, Woods was arrested at his home later that day around 7 p.m..
Greenville PD says Woods is a former deputy in Ohio County and a former employee of the Ohio County Board of Education. Officials say Woods was also a previous candidate for Sheriff and “barely lost.”
Woods was booked in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center on the following charges:
