Tonight, comfy cool conditions return as temperatures drop into the 50s under clear skies. Monday will see a repeat of these nice conditions before changes come to Acadiana. A big storm system will bring multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms to the area. At times, heavy rainfall will occur, potentially leading to flooding concerns in parts of the area. Rain totals could exceed 5 inches in spots.
Storm chances continue through Thursday as the system slowly works its way eastward. By Friday, somewhat drier conditions return to the area, though pop-up storms will still be likely around the area. Next weekend looks drier for the area.
