22 pounds of meth, cocaine seized, two arrested in San Jose drug bust

(KRON) — A “long-term” investigation led to the seizure of 22 pounds of meth and cocaine, and the arrest of two men, San Jose Police Department Assistant Police Chief Brian Shab announced Saturday.

“A long-term investigation by Metro Team 2 led to the takedown of narcotics traffickers with help from our MERGE Unit,” Shab said.

SJPD served search warrants at three San Jose homes during the investigation. In addition to the drugs, police seized $25,000 in cash.

“Outstanding work by all involved,” Schab said.

The names of the arrested suspects have not been released at this time.
