Every year, ASU-Mountain Home (ASUMH) honors a notable alumnus who previously graduated from the school. This year, Brandon Barnes was given the award for Alumnus of the Year.
Christy Keirn, Vice Chancellor for Student Advancement at ASUMH, says the school gives this award to recognize the many graduated students who went on to make an impact in their community.

Barnes graduated from ASUMH in 2014 and then went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Finance from ASU in Jonesboro.
