U.S. Highway 20 near Idaho/Montana border closed due to crash
ISLAND PARK — A crash has temporarily closed U.S. Highway 20 near the Idaho/Montana border.

Emergency crews are on the scene of the wreck that involved two vehicles at milepost 400, according to Idaho State Police. Both eastbound and westbound lanes of traffic are blocked.

The Fremont County Sheriff’s Office posted on Facebook that traffic will be “completely stopped for a significant amount of time.”

Witnesses tell EastIdahoNews.com multiple ambulances and at least one medical helicopter are on scene.

Motorists are asked to avoid the area.
