Pepsi Co. is bringing their iconic Pepsi Challenge to Philly this weekend

(WPHL) — For the first time since 1975, Pepsi Co. is bringing back its iconic Pepsi Challenge to test an age-old debate on whether Pepsi or Coke is the fan favorite soda brand.

And Philadelphians will have a chance to test their tastebuds on May 2, 3, and 4.

The Pepsi Challenge will be taking over Cherry Street Pier and the Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival to let Philadelphians partake in the blind taste test and decide which Zero Sugar soda is better.

The event times will be:

May 2:

  • 3- 9 p.m. at the Cherry Street Pier

May 3:

    Sponsored
  • 12- 5 p.m. at Cherry Street Pier

May 4:

Sponsored
  • 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Rittenhouse Row Spring Festival

Those who want to partake will be given two unmarked cups containing Pepsi Zero Sugar and Coke Zero Sugar. The participants will sample both cups and choose their favorites.

Regardless of their choice, PepsiCo will give all participants a FREE can of Pepsi Zero Sugar.
