By rssfeeds-admin TAMAQUA, Pa. (WHTM) — Two people wanted on murder charges in New York were arrested Wednesday in Schuylkill County.
According to the State Police at Frackville, Sgroilin Santana, 22, of Tamaqua and Jaslynn Garcia, 19, of Shillington, were arrested around 6:40 p.m. Wednesday by Tamaqua Police, state troopers, and Schuylkill County Detectives.
Troopers said Nassau County Detectives contacted them earlier Wednesday, saying they believed the two suspects were in Tamaqua.
They both were wanted for second-degree murder out of Nassau County, troopers said.
The two were arraigned and committed to Schuylkill County Prison pending extradition to New York State.
